The most wonderful time of the year is fast approaching and what better way to celebrate than to spend time with your loved ones? Christmas, to me, is all about being together- laughing together, singing together and best of all, eating together!

The holidays may be fun but quite busy for most of us. Some of you might’ve already started doing Christmas shopping. For Crissey and I who do 9-5 jobs, we don’t really get to enjoy the holiday season until a few days in before Christmas itself. Good thing, there are places like Tokyo Tokyo that offer special Christmas meals to make our 1-hr lunch breaks more enjoyable. We are huge fans of Japanese food and we need it quick so we get them at Tokyo Tokyo!

This year, Tokyo Tokyo serve their new Mt. Katsu Sumo Meal to lift up our Christmas spirits. For just P375.00, you get chicken katsu topped with onion rings, 4 pieces of prawn tempura, two bowls of unlimited steamed rice and two glasses of red iced tea – what a festive meal for an affordable amount! When Crissey and I heard about this, we knew we had to visit Tokyo Tokyo ASAP.

It was challenging to finish the whole thing. It’s meant for 2 but good for 3! Maybe, Tricia can join us next time. <3

If you’re riding solo, you can also enjoy Mt. Katsu ala carte with rice for only P189.00. If that ain’t enough, you can easily upgrade your Mt. Katsu meal to a complete bento meal with drinks and sides for only P244.00.

For the record, I’m a huge-eater but was only able to consume almost 1/3 of this (*gasp*). It was so good, though – definitely value for money. I’m very critical when it comes to Japanese food ’cause it’s my favorite cuisine. And when I’m short on time and budget, Tokyo Tokyo is my absolute go-to. *.*

I’m still not over with how this sumo meal comes with 4pcs. of prawn tempura. We all know how tempura can be quite expensive.  I am very pleased!

What a fun pre-holiday dining experience with my ate bb! Best offering yet this holiday season, I must say.<3 Expect us eating more often at Tokyo Tokyo!
