Since I’d been lacking posts for my fave of the moments series, I thought why not make it faves of the month? I have too many make-up to try (and too many that I want to try) so why not share the good ones? I only started using these last September and I promise that these are all super good products – at least in my opinion!

This Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder is no stranger to K-beauty followers. For the longest time, I’d only heard about how good this is and now, I am telling you to go to South Korea and buy this now (jk). Most of the time, I tell myself that less is more, so I thought adding powder over your foundation/bb cream/cushion is just redundant. Little did I know that there are powders like this – lighweight, clear, silky and affordable (!). I would only apply this on my t-zone, chin and under-eye area. I recently added this to my daily base make-up routine since I get a little oily around my T-zone. It really does the job! I only have to retouch once to control my oil. This also works wonderful as a setting powder for my under eye concealer. Most bb cushions have dewy finish and if you wish to tone that down, then applying this product is the way to go. It’ll leave a nice silky smooth finish on your face.

I love good matte lippies as much as I love my Korean lip tints. How can you not when they leave such a beautiful solid color on your lips? Plus, they require less reapplication. The Happy Skin Glam Squad by Denise Go-Ochoa is currently top 1 on my lippies list. The shade is just so pretty. It’s very wearable and really suits my skin tone. Actually, I think it’ll suit any skin tone! It’s pigmented. You’d only need to swipe one layer of this. It doesn’t feel dry on my lips unlike my other matte lippies. It’s doesn’t dry as fast as the Sleek Matte Me, but I don’t really mind. When using this, some pigments might transfer on your finger if you press on your lips but it only means that this product gives your lips room to breathe. YAAAS! The formula is moisturizing. No to chapped lips with this!

The cutest hair product I own right now is this Essensu Hair Spritz in Sayaka. It had to be on this list because it’s such a nice thing to have inside your purse when you’re gonna be out the whole day.~ Wrote more about this here.

This Heimish All Clean Balm is what I’m most excited about on this list. It hasn’t even been 2 weeks since I started using this but I already consider it as one of my beauty essentials. I first heard about it from one of my fave beauty gurus, Jen (@meejmuse). Whenever she says that a product is good, I don’t even think twice. I go ahead and rush to buy it!

I’d been looking for a nice make-up remover for a while now and I’m super happy that I found this. This balm removes make-up as soon as it touches your face – it melts any weight of make-up in seconds. It doesn’t even take much of it to remove your whole make-up. A little goes a long way! It works as a make-up remover and cleanser (2-in-1). Unlike most balms, this doesn’t require you to double cleanse. I still do anyway because I love my cleanser. *.* I’m like super wow-ed by this and I know that it’s gonna be very difficult to find a better one.

The Heimish All Clean Balm in action! The scent is also so relaxing. It’s the kind of scent that makes you feel that your skin is really clean (and it is). I will hoard on this when I go back to Korea!~ I think a jar of this will even last you a year. I’m serious. Oh, and it doesn’t contain parabens!

It’s obvious by now that I don’t easily get swayed by hypes. I know Majolica Majorca has been available locally for years and I’m sorry if I only tried it now. Back when Japanese brands first entered the country, I already heard how super good their mascaras are. Fast forward to now, I am finally convinced to get more Lash King Mascara as soon as I can. Its formula is just amazing. It makes your lashes fuller and longer while keeping it natural. (You guys know that I’m all about that.) It’s like I’d put natural-looking false eyelashes on my non-existent ones. One stroke of this is just boom! It’s super build-able while making your lashes still look pretty. Just see the photo below.

It doesn’t smudge. It doesn’t give you panda eyes at the end of the day. It’s waterproof. It’s everything! It will be hard to remove completely, though.

The youngest among my cushion collection is this Beige Chuu Newborn Cushion (hehe, see what I did there?). It’s Beige’s first ever cushion that’s why it’s called “newborn”. I’m not a huge fan of its packaging but there are more important reasons why this made it to my September favorites. I will post a video of my first impressions on this on my Youtube channel. Sorry to leave you hanging! Will tell you more about this soon. Hehe!

And there you have it! My September beauty faves. If you have any comments, suggestions, or anything at all, feel free to drop a comment below. Have a great week ahead!
