Hello there! I’m back! So glad to be able to blog again. I’d been very busy for Bloggers United 11 (and my day job). I’m glad that it went really well. No words are enough to express my happiness upon meeting my followers. I had fun chatting and taking selfies! So, THANK YOU. Thank you so much, especially to those who bought from Happymallow’s new collection. The website is down right now. I’m trying something new and it’ll be back soon with the new collection so please look forward to it!~
In the meantime, here’s the last of my South Korean trip (sad to say)! I’m so happy for all the comments that I’d been getting on my travel posts. Really just thanks for staying tuned~ I’m excited to end this series with good vibes. We all miss our childhood every once in a while and I don’t think anyone doesn’t like theme parks, so today I’m taking you to Everland!
Located in the city of Yongin, Everland is South Korea’s largest theme park. This park features the best zoo I’ve ever been to, a super fun water park and an abundance of the prettiest flowers. IMO, the flowers alone are enough reason to come here. Best to visit this place in spring/summer.
To go to Everland, we bought a package deal from a travel agency (sorry, forgot the name) in Hongdae . It’s basically entrance fee + shuttle service. We were picked up at Hongdae around 7 or 8am. By the time we got there, Everland just opened. Usually, in theme parks, 2-4 hours of waiting to experience an attraction is normal. When we were here, we didn’t feel like we waited at all since the season was in the middle of change.
What made me the happiest in Everland: KIDS! Why are all Korean kids so gwiyeoo (especially Return of Superman’s Daehan, Mingguk and Manse- I miss them!)?
Tulips, you fill my heart with glee! I just spazzed the whole time that I was here so forgive me.
Can you blame me, though?!
When imagination comes to life!
Tempting, but sorry I didn’t come here to shop. (Must. Avoid. Impulse. Buying.)
I didn’t get to see these light up since our pick-up schedule was too early. We were there from around 9am – 3pm only! Bitin.
Why do I feel like I look like someone I don’t want to mention here? Any guesses? Hehe!
Pretty flowers everywhere.
Kids in matching track suits. So cute.
Spot Pororo! I’d only heard about this character because of GG’s Seohyun. Hehe!
Everland is huge! It’s divided into different themed sections.
My favorite was the animal zoo! Honestly, I feel like animals are so kawawa in zoos. But, Everland does a wonderful job in taking care of them in this park. They’re kept in the most natural environments. And apparently, a lot of them have already made it on TV (like when they conceive- stuff like that). Lol.
Everyone’s favorite! Waddle, waddle, waddle!
So graceful, how to be you po? We are complete opposites.
Um, am I ugly? Snob tigers are snob. Huhu.
“I like to move it, move it!”
Who’s that Pokemon? :O Do you know Fennekin? I bet this Fennec Fox is its inspiration!
Am I only the only person who thinks this is funny? Group pic level = CLASS GRADUATION.
Male flamingos be like: “REAL GUYS WEAR PINK.”
Have you guys seen the cartoon We Bare Bears? If not, then you have to!! It’s my stress reliever! I wanna hug this bear!
Aww! This one, too!
And these! My heart cannot take the cuteness. </3
It’s Ice Bear (my fave from the bears of We Bare Bears)! Hehe!
I think seals are just as cute as dolphins. Yes?
Speaking of dolphins… (this kid, though!)
Couple fashion level 999.
Colors in the sky~
Finally, Jajangmyeon! I keep seeing this dish on many K-shows. It looked so good that I was dying to try it. Verdict: Not bad but I feel like it’s missing something. Let’s try more Jajangmyeon next time~
This majestic rainbow flower tree! *.*
Statues that will make you feel that you’re so far, far away.
Crazy about these LED flowers! Wish I had seen them at night.
I heard there were some cool events going on during their 40th anniversary. We were there just a few days later. </3 Note to self: Research. Research. Research.
These tulips, though. I’m not much of a flower person but I looove tulips and floral prints!
Any kid’s perfect photo spot.
Perfect photo spot for girls in their twenties. Lol.
This reminds me of where the madhatter and Alice had a tea party. Isn’t it pretty?
More tulips just because.
This made me miss snowboarding even more. I used to be so dead scared of riding gondolas. It ended when I learned how to snowboard. One day, again.
BFFs are real.
Not for people with motion sickness. Pretty cool, though!
I don’t know what these are but I’m sure they’re not grapes.
The tulips were blooming just when we were about to leave. Beautiful good bye.
Too cute! The last of my Korean I-have-this-thing-with-doors series.
And this concludes my 2016 South Korean travel diary. Don’t leave me! Jk. I really really hope that you enjoyed them as much as I did. I have never missed a place this much in my life. Like I had experienced living in another country that’s just as beautiful as Korea for a long time but I don’t feel this way about it. I don’t know why. I want to see more of Korea that much! My fingers are crossed for another trip next year so wish me luck! I’ll probably try to go on more adventures locally and blog about them. Wish I had the time. It’s hard to be at this stage in life. Aldulting has almost fully sinked in. Lol! On a brighter note, the end of this series mean more beauty posts! Any suggestions? Please feel free to comment below. Reading comments is such a pleasurable experience! <3 Have a great week ahead!
