Chang Kai Shek and Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall

by farrah

Any first time trips require seeing historical places. Like everyone else, I made sure that I dropped by the Chang Kai Shek Memorial Hall and the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall (which both have their own train stations).  We’ve all heard of Chang Kai Shek. Well, at least, if you live in Manila (because Chang Kai Shek College, lol). I’m not gonna talk about their history ’cause I’m sure Google can do it way better than I can or better just hear everything from your tour guide if you’re getting one. All I’m sure of is that Chang Kai Shek and Dr. Sun Yat Sen played a huge role in making Taiwan independent and making it what it is today. It was so nice to see people gather up at their memorials. Heroes should never be forgotten!

I squeezed in passing by Huashan 1914 Creative Park during our trip to see the cool pastel instagram-able upside down house but turns out, they moved to another park already. If you’re planning to go there, skipping isn’t too much of a loss unless there’s a convention or expo going on that you want to see. The time I was at the place, they had a Korean Cultural Expo!

Questions are very welcome at the comments section! 😉

P.S. Not doing a November Faves post! I have something better coming up! <3
