Is your closet all prepped up for summer yet? I don’t think mine will ever be. I’m still overly attached to mock turtlenecks and  pullovers. Anyone with me?

However, I do not wish to sweat in my sweaters (unless I’m working out) so I’m taking baby steps to *sniff* move on. Started with this black ribbed dress that I bought a few weeks ago.

Dressing up for summer is all about comfort. Well, we all know that. You don’t really have to show too much skin. Take this dress with open shoulders as an example. It’s bare at the minimum (see what I did there?). It’s a classic summer silhouette perfectly spiced up. Style + comfort at its finest!

Another to include in your summer survival wardrobe: Sandals! If you think you look too simple, wear some really pretty sandals. A pair of white sneaks is another great option. You’re good all year or maybe even forever with them.

(I have the cutest photobomber!)
